A lot of gaming companies now use PC gaming as an advertising outlet; you can find many examples on various sites on the internet. With many new games costing around $50, the gaming companies have started to entice people to buy their games by offering free demo’s to download. This allows people to test out the games before actually buying them.

As technology has improved, so has PC gaming, you can now find that many games can be played with multi players. This means you can even challenge other PC gamers online, instead of just playing at home with a couple of friends. Because of the number of people that own a PC it makes sense to play games on the computer,. This is not what the manufacturers of game consoles think though. If you play games on the computer then you do not need to buy their consoles and accessories, and this could lose them a lot of money in the long run.
