There is no doubt that you have spent a lot of time planning your party and you want it to be a night that people are talking about for months to come. You have the best food and lots of Christmas favors. The games that you will choose have to be just as amazing. There is no shortage of Christmas party games which makes your decision that much harder. One key to finding the right games is to look at the ages of your guests. There are some games for adults and some for kids and by considering the age factor then your choice will be easier. The holidays are a prime time for throwing parties and you will want yours to be the best. You can easily achieve this by just having a lot of good food and plenty of games.

1. Christmas movie trivia: Divide your guests into teams of four and give each team to go off by themselves with index cards and markers. Each one of the teams needs to come up with the same amount of Christmas movie trivia questions and put it on the card along with the answers on the back. Once that is finished you can have one member from each team take turns reading the cards and trying to stump everyone. The team with the most right answers wins. You can have premade goodie bags handy to pass out to the winners.

2. Christmas tunes: Just like the trivia game except your guests will be guessing the names of holiday songs. There are two different ways to play this game. You can play an excerpt of the songs and have people guess or you can make cards with a line from the song and everyone can try to figure out which song that it is from. No matter how you play this fun party game everyone will love it.

3. Fill a stocking: The game of filling a stocking is usually a good way to stump everyone. All you have to do is fill about five stockings up with the same treats and Christmas favors, and when you finish you tie the top up tightly. Put everyone back into teams and give each team some paper, a pen, and one of the filled stockings. Decide upon a set time and allow everyone to put their guesses as to what is in the stocking on paper. The team with the most correct guesses will win. It’s a great game and it is rare that everyone will actually guess it.

4. Alphabet Christmas: This one is simple and hard at the same time. You give everyone a photocopied paper with the alphabet printed down one side. They will have to find a Christmas word that starts with each letter and put it down. The person or team with the most words will win. You may want to have a dictionary handy in case there is a dispute as to whether or not the words are legitimate.
